Pittsburgh Magician and Comedian to Execute

 Death-Defying Stunt Downtown on November 6, 2016

As Part of the Houdini 100 Event

Pittsburgh native and nationally touring magician Lee Terbosic is thrilled to announce that he will perform a death-defying, upside-down straight jacket escape high above the streets of Pittsburgh on Sunday, November 6, 2016. This date is extremely important to Terbosic because of its rich history to Pittsburgh.

“Dates are important parts of our lives and Sunday, November 6th, 2016 is a date that I have been dreaming about for a very long time. On November 6th, 1916, Harry Houdini performed this very dangerous stunt himself at the corner of Liberty Avenue & Wood Street in downtown Pittsburgh, and now 100 years to the day, I plan to recreate it at the very same location,” says Lee Terbosic.

Terbosic will perform the dangerous stunt between 10am-12pm, but there will be multiple festivities preceding this historic act, including the annual EQT Pittsburgh 10 Miler beginning at 8am. Terbosic will be a part of the starting line remarks for the race.

“All around this is going to be a exhilarating day and a day full of accomplishments for many of us in the city of Pittsburgh. I am very excited to be included in the Pittsburgh 10 Miler and have the runners as part of one of my dreams,” says Terbosic.

Terbosic, who was named Magician of the Year by the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities, has become one of the busiest and most sought after performers in the country. He has entertained some of Hollywood’s biggest stars including Wiz Khalifa, Johnny Depp, Jack Black and Aaron Paul. In addition, Terbosic has appeared on nationally televised shows such as America’s Got Talent on NBC and Four Weddings on TLC. Finally, Terbosic performs his thrilling Bamboozled show every weekend at the Dave & Buster’s Theater, located at The Waterfront shops in Pittsburgh’s Homestead neighborhood.

The cost to attend the Houdini 100 event is FREE! For more information about the Houdini 100 event or Terbosic’s Bamboozled show, please visit http://www.houdini100.com/ or http://www.bamboozledshow.com.
