Ms. Storelli a Swiss native, has trained in Switzerland, Italy, France, and in her current home of Madrid, Spain. Raised in New York City, Elisa is a graduate of Point Park Conservatory and serves as choreographer for fireWALL dance theater.
The profound struggle for connection and communication is a major theme in perspectives(as). The production is a riveting exploration brought alive by original music from Ryan McMasters and Jan Hugo Sabaaye. The piece arose as part of an ongoing conversation between Storelli and Alaio – a conversation that they carry on across language and cultural barriers, through the universal communication of dance. The result is two solo shows intertwined, culminating in a continent-bridging joint performance.
